im trying to find truth in words, in rhymes and notes in all the things i wish i wrote
//
drove around for a while and came across a field a few miles away from my house that i hadn't laid eyes on since we moved here ten years ago. when we first moved, my mom wanted some big rocks to put in her gardens, so we went around asking farmers if they had extra rocks we could pick from their fields and take them home. i fainty remembered a junk pile behind some trees near this field, so i parked my car and stumbled up a hill to the trees and found the pile still intact. found a busted up chair and set it up a couple yards from the trash pile and started shooting.
